Psora means ?itch? and is considered the miasm of deficiency, affecting the bowel and skin primarily. Psora is the oldest known miasm and is referred to as the ?mother of chronic disease.? Approximately 80% of the population has some component of Psora affecting them. It is the oldest and deepest acting of the miasms. As the name implies, psoriasis is connected with most skin disorders. Breathing difficulties, such as asthma, bronchitis, environmental allergies and hay fever are associated. Also, cardio-vascular disorders as well as blood sugar imbalances, such as hypoglycemia and diabetes.
Consider for people who may be highly susceptible to bad news, shock or fear. Associated with individuals who suffer from a fear of death and a generally negative personality or belief system. These individuals have unusual beliefs about food.
