mixture, displays a number of biochemical activities in addition to
protein digestion, including inhibition of platelet aggregation,
fibrinolytic activity, reduction of pro-inflammatory prostaglandin
formation, mucolytic properties, enhanced wound healing, and
cardiovascular and circulatory enhancement. Thorne Research never adds
diluents (such as lactose - commonly used by some manufacturers) to its
bromelain products.
