HLC Colon-izer 6g is available by Pharmax.
Features & benefits
? HLC organisms successfully used in clinical trials
? Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium lactis and Bifidobacterium bifidum are all resident organisms found in the human intestinal tract. Modern day diets, stress and antibiotic therapy can all have an impact on these sensitive organisms
? L. acidophilus may lessen the proliferation of yeast organisms such as Candida albicans in the intestinal tract.
? L. acidophilus helps to reduce the unfriendly bacteria by producing natural antibiotic substances ?on site? on the intestinal wall.
? Bifidobacterium helps to reduce opportunistic bacteria and the absorption of protonated amines.
? Bifidobacterium helps with lipid metabolism and in the reduction of available cholesterol in the diet.
? Bifidum longum is a transitory organism that exerts a positive influence on the intestinal pH
? Contains up to 60 billion viable organisms if stored in a refrigerator until use
? 3 months shelf life at ambient temperature
? 2 years shelf life if refrigerated
? Independent verification of specification with every batch
HLC Colon-izer provides active, live bacteria that normally reside in the healthy colon. The bacteria are essential if the normal bowel function is to be maintained and opportunistic bacteria and yeast organisms are to be controlled.
Following colonic irrigation, the bowel is denuded of its complement of essential bacteria and this needs to be replaced rapidly to reduce the possibility of opportunistic infestation by Candida albicans and other unfriendly bacteria.
